after burning out a voltage regulator and moaning to an electrician friend he suggested that I try a different one. I bought some fairly cheap, soldered some correct colour wire on and two weeks later all is well. I took apart the other unit which is the same as the new ones that I bought, bonus.
I'd like to offer them for sale to club members for £4.50 including postage ready to fit. let me run my car for another month just to check upon the durability of it all and then there you go, less than half price regulators.
