Recommended Sprint front brake upgrade.
Hi,
At some point I need to upgrade the front brakes on my Sprint. I see the Trackerjack upgrade seems popular, can anyone confirm if they are readily available and contact details.
Thanks in advance,
Chris.

Re: Recommended Sprint front brake upgrade.
Trackerjack is the forum name of the guy who developed this brake upgrade. It is basically VW Gold discs what are machined to fit the Dolomite hub along with Ford Sierra calipers. I suggest that you send him a PM.

Re: Recommended Sprint front brake upgrade.
Is that a front or rear brake kit, only ever heard the trackerjack kit talked about in rear kit
So many ideas... So little budget... So little time.
Re: Recommended Sprint front brake upgrade.
Front. No rear conversion that I know of.

Does it re-use the standard callipers or bigger callipers. There's a 4 piston calliper I found once but I lost the link to itrichard4040 wrote:Front. No rear conversion that I know of.

Re: Recommended Sprint front brake upgrade.
It is golf mk2 discs redrilled to suit. The brackets are conversion from the standar callers to Sierra 2.0 litre calipers. Then spacers for the back of the discs.

Do they fit under standard sprint alloys? I've only heard in passing of the trackerjack kitrichard4040 wrote:It is golf mk2 discs redrilled to suit. The brackets are conversion from the standar callers to Sierra 2.0 litre calipers. Then spacers for the back of the discs.

They may be the only UK conversion that fits inside Sprint wheels.
Here in these antipodese, this "Sprintparts" conversion is the only way to go, but unless you wanted to pay considerable carriage costs, the Trackerjack product would definitely be your best UK bet.

Is there an adaptor for the Dolomite brake pipe union and the Sierra caliper
