With the lock on the lock up where I keep Ted's former Sapphire Blue Sprint having suffered attack (along with the lock on every garage in the block), I was stirred into action to get the agreed value sorted. I had valued the car when first insuring it four years ago at £10k, but with the car still being in Ted's garage until recently, I never bothered regularising the paperwork.
Submitting the necessary form and paperwork to the Club, the Club's Valuation Certificate duly arrived which I then forwarded on to Peter James with whom I have the car insured. Almost by return of post, and without question whatsoever, an agreed value statement for £12k was issued.
A superb service, and well worth the membership fee on its own.
Club Valuation Service
Re: Club Valuation Service
So Alun, what's the process when getting your car valued? Does it need to be inspected by a club representative? Or is it just a case of submitting the required form?

Re: Club Valuation Service
It works like this;
1. Download the valuation form from here; viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1663
2. Complete the form and return it to the Club with as many good quality photos of the car as possible (digital or hard copy).
3. Wait a few days for the valuation letter to arrive which can then be forwarded to your insurer to be used for agreed value insurance - essential for ALL cherished classics.
Note that this is a free service for Triumph Dolomite Club members.
