Temporary Insurance

#1 Post by Mad Mart »

I need to get temporary insurance for XJX but I also need it to be an agreed value. Where is the best place to go?

I had very good service from Peter James a short while ago and they accepted the Club valuation with photo's without question.

Many insurers will give a pro rata refund on unexpired time if a policy is cancelled these days, probably the cheapest way of getting open ended 'temporary' insurance. ANB's annual policy was only £97!

DO NOT go to Adrian Flux. I had the same requirements as yourself, explained this to them, and received NO REFUND after 3 weeks of insurance. £100. :x

edited - t was £100 not £120.

I have heard some negative reports about Adrian Flux but just insured with them as got limited mileage agreed value for £54 for the year. Not worth looking at the temporary ones if you can get close to that price, they normally seem to be £30-40 for a day or £60-80 for a month when I have looked in the past and never found one that will do agreed value.
