Do you recognise yourself from 1977 at B.L. ?

For everything to do with Dolomites, Toledos, FWD cars and Dolomite-based kitcars.

I found this original monochrome photo in the history file for SWK while I was looking for build date recently.
I think it is from 1977 / 1978 as SWK is actually on the road with its new CVT test-bed gearbox.
Note the spare wheel on the boot lid ( the boot was full of electronics ).
I suspect the car has "failed to proceed" as its sitting at the entrance to a farm track
And get an eye-full of those '70's hairstyles !
Is this you if you are ex-B.L. ?
Tony.

You may not get anyone saying it was them after seeing the hairstyling.

I couldn't make out whether it's the standing guy's hairstyle or a large tree in the hedgerow behind him!

Great photo.
Is that Midge Ure in the drivers seat and Jimi Hendrix looking puzzled?

I do remember an autocar article on the Perbury CVT equipped dolomite....

Could this pic have come from that?
