Hiya all!
Just thought I'd check with you guys on you opinion about this, I have a small oil leak from the point directly beneath the coolant channel into the head:
Now to be honest it looks like its seeping out the head gasket. Its not a major leak so i'm not that bothered though as long as thats all it is. The coolant and oil aren't mixing, and temperature is running pretty well lately (for those of you who read my other post, I had an airlock!
)
Is there any way that it could in fact be leaking oil out of the water pump housing gasket instead? Debating just ripping the pump out and refurbishing it to see what happens!

The good news is that it isn't the water pump.
I suspect that the oil may be leaking from the timing chain cover?

Defo not the water pump. Oil from this can only come out of the slot...if it gets that high you have serious problems...
Its coming from the rocket cover gasket or the timing chain case top corner and blowing though....or the h/g as you say.
One to leave...

Rocket cover?! I know it's a good little car, but thats a bit much!
Thanks, glad it's not the pump. Think I will have to leave this one be then! Just wanted to check in case something was seriously wrong. Thanks again
