I'm pretty sure that with Sapphire you could have either blue, grey or black trim.
Blue and grey are both hens teeth now as both were dropped from the range in 75 IIRC.

Steve, you're starting to scare me now, where is all this knowledge coming from
I didn't know any of that.

45 years of working on Triumphs, starting as a spotty 16 year old apprentice before the Sprint was born. Plus a few old brochures!
Whilst you could have any combination of paint and trim in theory, in practice there were only 2 or 3 possible trim colours per paint choice.
The exceptions being the early Sprints which were all Mimosa/black and the SEs Black/grey. I have a hunch that SE trim is not the same as earlier grey with detail differences in material and execution. Of course SEs also had headrest seats which early grey trimmed cars didn't.

You're right as is Alun. The Interior is lighter, different material with Headrests, and if I can recall when I saw the 1500SE last the door cappings looked darker, but they may have been Stained and varnished.
It is a real shame the 1500SE has the flat dash as the timber on those cars was veneered with burr walnut rather than crown cut straight grained walnut.
But I guess if they had been fitted with the HL dash there'd be even less around now, as Sprints look so good with burr walnut veneer!
And Mad Marts (now B3nsons) Sapphire Sprint PUS has black trim, which completes the trio.
