random cracks in body work

#1 Post by Boost All The Dollys »

I noticed a while back that my dolomite has cracks at the join between the outer front wing and the body panel under the windscreen.

I also noticed that they can sometimes be wider after driving, maybe a credit card wide I think was the widest, what would cause this???

bad join to the body shell??

I resprayed the car last year and there was filler in that gap, its not like a panel gap, its like someone didn't attach the wing properly and its flexing with use, ill get a picture up later if they are still there.

The gaps vary, even on the same car each side but there should always be a gap with no filler in it between the front wing and the windscreen surround. You don't want water trapped in there.

ok, looks like ill have to get it removed then, as there's filler to blend the wing into the A pillar, thank for the heads up
