New tappets, new pushrods?
I'll be replacing the cam in LEC, and it'll need new tappets, and is it advisable to replace the push rods as well?
So many ideas... So little budget... So little time.

The ONLY time I ever replace pushrods is if they are physically bent! I wouldn't dream of replacing a cam without swapping out the followers too, but replacing the pushrods wouldn't even show on my radar.

Cheers Steve, I know about replacing tappets for a new can, I just heard that tappets have unique wear patterns on the push rods so would I replace the push rods, either way, thanks SteveCarledo wrote:The ONLY time I ever replace pushrods is if they are physically bent!
