Hi Simon,

I'm pretty sure they are BA, but can't remember which number. A #10 usa size will fit (iirc) but only at a pinch.

I'd replied to the wanted ad, but I'll repeat here in case it was missed:

Slotted pan head 3/16" 10-24 UNC X 1/2"

Get a bag of 100 from ebay for a tenner and never swear as you lose a SU dashpot screw ever again, and you can make your money back in no time by putting 8 into dodgy bags and selling them as 'special SU carb' screws for £5!

YMMV, E&OE, caveat emptor.

Edit: Actually, I'll add that it's Whitworth not UNC to be precise, but what's 5° on a thread angle?! Also what I've said above is for the dashpots, the float chambers are 2BA whitworth, so 3/16" 10-32 UNF should do the job. Metric, so much simpler...
Current fleet: '75 Sprint, '73 1850, Daihatsu Fourtrak, Honda CG125, Yamaha Fazer 600, Shetland 570 (yes it's a boat!)

Past fleet: Triumph 2000, Lancia Beta Coupe, BL Mini Clubman, Austin Metro, Vauxhall Cavalier MK1 & MK2, Renault 18 D, Rover 216 GSI, Honda Accord (most expensive car purchase, hated, made out of magnetic metal as only car I've ever been crashed into...4 times), BMW 318, Golf GTi MK3 16v x 3
