Time to resurrect a Midlands meet?

#1 Post by xvivalve »

I've been dwelling on this for a while now; there are a few more active members locally, and an easy to find local pub holds a general classic car meet quite regularly that I don't think they'd mind if a few small Triumph saloons turned up at...and if only one turns up there is plenty more to look at than the empty chair opposite!

Their next scheduled meet is Sunday 31 July at 12 noon.

The venue is the Waggon & Horses pub about halfway between Stourbridge & Kidderminster on the A451, post code is DY10 3NX

Any interest?

Alun, you've done the right thing by starting a thread. PM Andy P. asking him for a list of members local to you. If you can get members' e-mail addresses, you can sent out a quick reminder about a week before the meeting is due. This is what I do and I've just asked Andy for an up to date list of local members because there a were a couple of attendees at NDD who I'd like to get to come along to the meetings to boost numbers. Have you tried to get any other Triumph clubs (CT, TSSC, SOC, etc) on board to hold a joint meeting? This was something I'd considered but the consensus was that we're fine as a TDC only meeting.

Hope it goes well for your next meeting.

Excellent Steve, so will I, albeit in a modern classic!

We need to have a chat about co-ordinating getting Gez's car over to you...
