Open garage day - would it work?

Having run autojumble stands since 1990, I now only take pre-ordered large or heavy parts. If you need a van or trailer to transport them there, then any potential customer needs the same to get them home! If they come knowing they are buying/looking specifically, then they will be prepared, but if they have brought a family of four plus dog in a Toledo they can't carry an axle home. You may get a lot of interest in an axle, but it may not actually sell on the day for this reason.

I see what you mean, I may take gearboxes but engines/axles leave at home as you say I have photos which I can enlarge to show what I have for sale at the show. There are certain items also that I am planning to donate to the the club for refurb calipers and racks if there will be someone I can give these to on the day

I like the idea and you have some interesting parts but it's too far for me to travel for a rummage.

If I am here then I will definitely go to Calne. I have a feeling I may be away but will check.
