I have made a paypal payment to rejoin, but I may have done things in the wrong order. Is there an email to contact about this?
Do the club still stock rear brake shoes for the Sprint, prices for these are eye watering elsewhere.

Re: Rejoining the club and Sprint brake shoes.
I am currently collecting sets of used Sprint shoes so we can get a batch re lined, hopefully at a reasonable cost, but only three members have sent me any so far, so with the sets I've collected from old axles etc I only have about a dozen sets so far including one set 'promised'; I need more to get a significant bulk discount. I don't believe we have any other stock left, but will wait for confirmation from those who know.
Burton supply them (several classic Ford share the Sprint shoe), but I think they charge about £70 a set for them. I've seen them as 'low' as £45 on buy it nows on ebay which compares well to the £50 quote I've had for relining a single set in isolation!
I personally have a couple of sets by me if you are stuck, but would be looking for £45 to relieve me of one as that seems to be the current lowest cost of replacing them.

Ah, sorry, no, send them to me please, or bring them to TDCIR and reduce Royal mail's profits.

I have a new set for my Sprint (courtesy of Fitchetts a couple of years ago - £24) So I'll take the old ones off for you for core and add them to Tony's box of wonders.
