Raf, you should've introduced yourself. We were all wearing name badges so you wouldn't have had any trouble identifying us.

Getting back on topic, does anybody know what became of the CVT box that was used on SWK?

Well, you all were quite engrossed in that steering rack and I didn't want to bother. Sure there will be another time to say hello, might even see some of you at the NEC in a couple of weeks,
Current fleet: '75 Sprint, '73 1850, Daihatsu Fourtrak, Honda CG125, Yamaha Fazer 600, Shetland 570 (yes it's a boat!)

Past fleet: Triumph 2000, Lancia Beta Coupe, BL Mini Clubman, Austin Metro, Vauxhall Cavalier MK1 & MK2, Renault 18 D, Rover 216 GSI, Honda Accord (most expensive car purchase, hated, made out of magnetic metal as only car I've ever been crashed into...4 times), BMW 318, Golf GTi MK3 16v x 3

From the info; I have the original gearbox(es) were returned to the manufacturer / supplier at the end of the project. The gearboxes were not owned by B.L. developments.
This is the result of a fairly standard commercial agreement which I'm familiar with, whereby if a separate design / development project is undertaken by an external company then the design / hardware is owned by the development company who retain R & D units for repair / modification and (maybe) make back their R & D costs from subsequent sales of a large number of production units.
