Castle Combe Track Day

#1 Post by Mad Mart »

Another Castle Combe Action day on Saturday 8th September. These events are always popular, so getting track passes in advance is a must.

I shall be organising club passes. This will give us 6 cheap sessions & 6 free admission passes.

Ooh, not a classic action day. I wonder how petrifying the fester would be on the track? how much for a track pass?

Highly reasonable. I'll no doubt regret this, but put me down for one. :D

I'll let you know if I get it back in one piece tonight :D

Incidentally; I recall some distant knowledge that its illegal to drive a car with race numbers on it on the road...am I correct? I can see a nice white on black roundel on each door...

Is this not the day before TDCIR?

I can feel a plan coming on......

Alun,

You are ok with racing numbers provided that they are clearly crossed out with tape. The tape cross must be clearly visible from at least 10 metres.

OK. I've held back posting the form off for long enough, I'm not going to get the passes we want if it doesn't go off now. No more takers then? So just one extra track pass for you then Dave?

Well, if we get one session thrown in with the club pass, then I think that will be enough. I know exactly how quickly the brakes boil on the Fester, and it doesn't take many big stops at all.

Lovely job. Just need to get some tyres with a name I can pronounce, and I'll be sorted. 8)

Sorry Mart - been away with work and therefore off board since Monday. Am I too late for this? Would love to have a go.
