Sprint distributor re-build

#1 Post by Magenta Auto Sprint »

I invited Hometune to professionally tune my sprint.

One of the first things he noticed was 'slop' in the dizzy spindle.

Having noticed that a re-conditioned dizzy is £350 I was thinking if it is possible to replace the bearings (if any are fitted) or bore out the body and fit some thin walled bearings.

Try Ignition Solutions: 01384 261500. They are very near me, and I'm of the understanding they can better that price significantly,,,

Alternatively, fit an appropriate electronic ignition system (Lumenition?) so that dizzy slop no longer matters.
