I may be alone in this but I've always found that I get really bad foot ache in my right foot when driving my sprint over a long distance. I feel that the pedal is too far from the floor so I end up with my foot at an acute angle. For years I resorted to using my left foot sideways under my right to make it comfortable - not sure if I've explained it well. Either way it's not ideal or probably the safest thing ever.
Finally I thought I'd get on and do something whilst I've got my car at a restorer for some work.
We came up with the idea of extending the pedal - we made it bolt on so it can be removed if needed.
I've not tested it yet but I'm hopeful.
I didn't want to put in a raised floor as this was a lot of extra fabrication.
It only just occurred to me has anyone else had this problem?

Achey accelerator foot!
Re: Achey accelerator foot!
I don't have the same problem as such, but that looks like a neat solution.
At 6'2" I can't have my legs straight out with my thighs supported by the seat squab as no doubt intended, so it's bandy legs and so for the accelerator that means my knee rests right where the window winder is and I keep opening the window, and it's uncomfortable to boot, keep meaning to move the handle winder position around!

Re: Achey accelerator foot!
I guess I have the opposite then as I'm 5'7".
