Welcome to the forum.
To answer a couple of your questions: No Dolomite ever came with power steering and all the Sprints left the factory with a vinyl roof.
Your biggest worry is going to be rust unless you're handy with a MIG or you know someone who is. The Club do a decent range of replacement panels which is half the battle. You've come to the right place by joining this forum and the Club membership fee is worth every penny so I strongly recommend that you join the club to take advantage of the benefits.
Hope this helps any.
