Where do I get a blank VIN/ID plate from

For everything to do with Dolomites, Toledos, FWD cars and Dolomite-based kitcars.

I thought overdrive became standard on Sprints by the time yours was made...

So where is the O after the DL?

Or does yours actually not have overdrive?

Jonners
Note from Admin: sadly Jon passed away in February 2018 but his humour and wealth of knowledge will be fondly remembered by all. RIP Jonners.

If you mean mine Jonners, then I can see why you would say that, from May 1975 and VA15001DL they got the overdrive, Sundym glass etc. and mine is down as being first registered in June 1975. It must have been hanging around in the dealers for awhile, as VA10270DL to VA10745DL which I believe was the last of the 'series 1' cars is a bit of a gap, was there a delivery driver strike at the time?!

In saying all of the above, mines a cheat as it now has overdrive, which is my fault, but it's a joy to have on motorways, and later seats with headrests which are a previous owners fault. ;)
Current fleet: '75 Sprint, '73 1850, Daihatsu Fourtrak, Honda CG125, Yamaha Fazer 600, Shetland 570 (yes it's a boat!)

Past fleet: Triumph 2000, Lancia Beta Coupe, BL Mini Clubman, Austin Metro, Vauxhall Cavalier MK1 & MK2, Renault 18 D, Rover 216 GSI, Honda Accord (most expensive car purchase, hated, made out of magnetic metal as only car I've ever been crashed into...4 times), BMW 318, Golf GTi MK3 16v x 3

Hope mine isn't a fake then?!

(Yes it is right way around on the car, didn't want you all to get stiff necks!)
Chassis plate on my Sprint is the exact same as yours (inc 'Dolomite Sprint' text).
Yours has survived much better too
