Alternative Sprint Distributor Cap

#1 Post by ham204 »

Is this a good alternative to the Sprint 44D4 distributor cap:

On a related subject, isn't it strange that spark plug leads (at least the ones I have seen) do not have a 90 degree exit from the cap to the plugs? That would help to manouvre them over the inlet manifold to the plugs.

I don't know whether that one is a good alternative but an Ambassador cap can be used.
You will need the Lucas 45D rotor arm too.
Please beware, there are some really rubbish replica ignition parts around.

Further, you will also need ignition leads because the Ambassador used the simple push on type.
