No, I looked at it a few years ago but Mark was talking about minimum of 50-100 and even when the club was looking to fund this I did not hear back regarding to taking it forward. The company who made them no longer had the tool so it wasn't that straightforward. You're quite correct Ian, I have mentioned this before. Since then I have had a couple of (presumeably) Baines seals fitted to customer cars with no leaks and (so far) no other adverse effects. I was going to try an purchase a batch (of ten or twenty) in EPDM to sell through the Club but was put of doing so by
the thought of standing on someone's toes, so to speak.
My budget for this was up to £1000 as I believe there are enough discerning club members to justify such an outlay.

Chris Witor does a front and rear rubber for the T2000 in EPDM or something very similar. The rear one has the same section profile as the front and rear rubbers for Dolomite models, so he's halfway there already and the logical person to approach. So about 18 months ago I spoke to him (i've known him for 30 years) about it, but he sells the Baines one for Dolomites, has had no complaints and didn't see the market as viable. I suspect if someone were to lay money on the table along with a rear one for pattern (which IS hard to get) the result might be different. Unfortunately I don't personally have the sort of money available to invest like that. And I have steel toecaps, you won't be hurting me or my feelings if you want to try!
