Hi.
I was wondering how the resto/rebuild of the French blue 2-door Dolomite Sprint, UUR 181 M was getting on?

Does anyone know who is doing it? I would really like to know.

Thank you

I've just done a vehicle check on the DVLA vehicle enquiry service and it has been untaxed since December 2012. This is the information that has come up:

Vehicle details
Vehicle make TRIUMPH
Date of first registration December 1973
Cylinder capacity (cc) 3528 cc (Rover V8 engine?)
CO₂Emissions Not available
Fuel type PETROL
Export marker No
Vehicle status Not taxed
Vehicle colour BLUE
Vehicle type approval Not available
Wheelplan 2 AXLE RIGID BODY
Revenue weight Not available

It also appears in my 1996 list and was red at the time.

I saw this car a few years in a garage compound not far from me, it had been sat a while. Trustno.1 may have more info on what happened to it !

Last I heard after I offered to take it on was it was going to be shipped to South Africa(?) and was towed from the garage in shamblehurst Lane by a friend of Johan's at his request after emailing Colin to say it was going to be collected, this was at least a few years ago so if anyone should know where it is or whats happening to it it should be you Johan?

Have you contacted your friend who towed it from the garage to ask him whats happened?
