Posting pics & bumpers.
I know it's me as I'm still in the 80s , but why is it so hard to post pictures? Would love to share some pictures but it is beyond me.
Main point, Any top tips for fitting a front bumper? Rubber washers between body and bumper or anything else that would be good to know. Thanks.

Well done, some of us are stuck in the '70s

As far as bumpers go, yes there should be rubber washers between bumper and body. Making sure all the fixings are new or at least clean helps. It 's possible to fit the bumper single handedly without causing a disaster to the bodywork, I've done it on a Stag and they're pretty similar. Start by fitting it at the front then attach the corner bolts with the rubber washers as mentioned. Good luck!!

There are mods for pppBB that make image uploads easy, like below, keep meaning to mention it to the website admin...

Oh! That's a very clean and shiny looking Sprint (or 1850)!

Past fleet: Triumph 2000, Lancia Beta Coupe, BL Mini Clubman, Austin Metro, Vauxhall Cavalier MK1 & MK2, Renault 18 D, Rover 216 GSI, Honda Accord (most expensive car purchase, hated, made out of magnetic metal as only car I've ever been crashed into...4 times), BMW 318, Golf GTi MK3 16v x 3

Now that's just showing off
. I can't even do my own picture like that, let alone someone else.

Re: Posting pics & bumpers.
It would seem the the Android Flickr app doesn't lend itself to BB code.
So
https://flic.kr/p/TsZv9E
was the text in the link to your Flickr photo and the BB code (taken straight from your Flickr photo but using a PC) is
[REMOVE THIS TEXT IN BOLDurl=https://flic.kr/p/TsZv9E]
[/url]IMAG0245 by George Thompson, on Flickr
obviously it shouldn't have REMOVE THIS TEXT IN BOLD
So my guess is only the TsZv9E will need to change each time you want to display a photo.
This doesn't sound as easy as I'd hoped, but it makes sense to my weird brain! Argh, didn't work.
Galileo, that looks good - what's the downside, why are they doing this for free? Perhaps take this to another thread so as not to spoil George's pictures.

Can just one picture be seen on that link or all of them? It's an 1850 looking better now than it has for a long time, still some odd jobs to do.

Another late 1850 in Brooklands then; looking good.georgethompson730 wrote:Can just one picture be seen on that link or all of them? It's an 1850 looking better now than it has for a long time, still some odd jobs to do.
Is it manual or auto?

Re: Posting pics & bumpers.
It's a manual plus overdrive, was going to fill in the full story of my car when it was completely finished, but I guess it's partly out the bag now
let's just say it's been a 'journey' for now.
