I had to Google the Bunkus Sprint. When will those panels be available on the club list Alun?

Darren Faulkner was with me when I saw the car close up, you need to talk to him about those panels as it was he who left with greater inspiration than I!
When I get around to it, I'll send some of my photo's to the magazine editor...

Darren is the only one who has the knowledge and know it all to pull it off. Really looking forward to seeing his next build.

Re: Definitive Picture guide to fitting club sills?
My club outer sills have now been fitted, the filler that attached the bottom of both front wings has been removed (wasn't me!
) and the car has a shiny new MOT with no advisories. The welder did as Alun suggested (great minds etc) and fashioned his own front of sill repairs. I'll get photo's soon. There has been a bit of collateral damage. The front bottom of the near side rear door has a nasty dent and one of my door cappings has a gouge out of it from the storage of the sill reinforcers. The panels have been welded, the joints Tiger Sealed and the area undersealed. Had to have two MOTs due to the time it took to have the work done, bill was £400. I'm quite happy with the outcome and the price, but have some more work to do and therefore more questions for you all.....
The club panels are zinc coated, I'm guessing I remove the underseal with paraffin and prime with...what? Just Zinc primer?
The welder's repair panels will be bare steel, I'm guessing I remove the underseal and use etch primer?
There are no drain holes, where should I drill drains and what size/shape?
The inside hasn't been treated, should I Waxoyl with a nozzle from the newly fashioned drain holes?
Or should I plug all drains, drill a hole under the tread plate and fill with paraffin/oil mix, then drain once the cavity is full?
Stonechip over the primer then a few coats of rattle can body colour?
Lots to do, so little time.
The stainless trims will NOT be refitted.

Pictures of fitted sills, as it came from the welder, then with the underseal removed (used paraffin), then with primer.
After a bit of googling I decided on Epifanes multi marine primer, £24 for 750ml. But I could only get it online, so settled for Hammerite straight to galvanised primer. Seemed to take to the Zintec and the bare steel easily enough:

Re: Definitive Picture guide to fitting club sills?
Get the club front lower wing repair section to finish the job off. Gaps under the door look very good. This should be seem welded as well , you can replicate the spot welds at the bottom with plug welds. Have a look at my thread A few pictures of KRJ . Will put some pictures up next week of the club lower wing repair panel on , just a few more bits to sort first.

Thanks Ron, link to your thread:

Please remember the welder who's doing this knows nothing about Dolomites so any detailed info you can post, with pictures, of the front lower wing repair fitting will be greatly appreciated.
