Mudflaps

#1 Post by xvivalve »

Does anyone have OE or dealer fitted mudflaps on their car, or even off the car? I could do with a photograph...

I sent some out from Ted's stuff a while ago, but cannot remember to whom!

I sold some to richard4040 a while ago. Not sure if they're OE or dealer though.

Yes, replace the 'virgin' bit with 'talktalk' everything else remains the same. Virgin sold out to talktalk!

I have original Unipart accessory Triumph mudflaps fitted front and rear to one of my cars. Also have a NOS front set complete with fittings - don't think they came from Ted's stuff. Would some photos still be useful?

Hi Alun it appears I have a set of Nos rears still in packet.

The others I had were different Triumph logo with an offset rectangle highlight that was white but the word Triumph was in black. unfortunately havent been able to locate these. Would you like a better picture if I open the packet?

Hi Rob,

If you don't mind opening them, seeing the actual shape of the rears would be most useful...

If Rob wants to keep his rear flaps sealed (ooh-err ) I can remove one from the car & photograph it. Mine are the same design.
The ones with Triumph in black raised letters on a white background are an earlier type - perhaps late '60s-early '70s. I have one such pair for an unidentified car, possibly Stag, as they came to me in a job lot of Stag bits.

As long as I get them back I'm quite happy to send them to you so you can have a good close look at them or I will open them if a picture will do?
