Return to Dolomite ownership

#1 Post by storeyn »

I have this evening returned to Dolomite Ownership....

Earlier today I took delivery of Mad Marts track day sprint, after many years of ownership he decided to sell.

I am looking forward to continuing Martins tradition of frequent track days...

Have to say it is a brilliiant car, a credit to martin as are his other restorations detailed on the forum.

Looking forward to my first drive...,

I'm glad it's gone to a good home and not too far from me. I had the track Sprint for over 14 years and for the first time in 25-30 years I am temporarily without one. I have no plans to get another resto or track Sprint (or anything else for that matter), but you know me, that could change at any time.
Sprintless for the first time in 35+ years. :boggle2: ... Still Sprintless.

Engines, Gearboxes, Overdrives etc. rebuilt. PM me.

I heard a whisper that SFB's logbook and chassis plate were for sale on ebay recently; I never saw the advert myself, but have you heard if anything happened to it?

Congratulations Storeyn. I hope you enjoy it.
Mart, I hope you get another Dolly. I love reading about your rebuilds.
It's funny how these cars get under your skin. I have just bought a 1300fwd. Sadly I now have to sell the Toledo, though.

:boggle2: Really? No I've heard nothing about it.

Would somehow doubt that re SFB.

Rush sold it in good condition to a guy from Brum some 2 years ago now? It went for decent money if a tad cheap and was still in excellent
condition.

I think it may have since changed hands again once since.

A dolomite-less Mart is very hard to imagine. But nothing in life is permanent...
