Front spolier

#1 Post by D16PJM »

Is there a company that makes sprint/1500 SE front spoilers as mine has gone walkies, every where that sells them seems to be out of stock.

i have been busy painting the front end as hopefully taking it to Motorsport at the palace in crystal palace park.

Thanks Pete

I've just this last week looked into GRP replication as they seem to be of decreasing availability and increasing cost and Rimmers are out of stock. However, with the necessary two part mould costs and the bonding and refinishing of two halves and captive nuts, we'd be looking at a supply price of double that Rimmers currently quote, so I suspect that is on a back burner for a while unless demand for ten or so becomes apparent...

A NOS original made close to £300 on Ebay recently, not checked Rimmers website, but surely theirs are not that much? Are they replicas too? Or just second hand?

I've been thinking about looking for a better one for the Dolomega, as the couple I have are both a bit tatty! A little persuading could make me number 2 of 10! (shades of the Borg!)

Rimmers replicas were £89 when in stock.

If I get some made, they will be as good as the pattern I use...but TVR quality fabrication...

Is that a GOOD thing????

I've worked on several TVRs over the years and haven't been overly impressed!
