Sprint Colours

#1 Post by Sprint seeker »

Can anyone tell me which, if any, Triumph blue colours were used for Dolomite Sprints?

Thank you

Ice, French, Sapphire, Tahiti, Pageant and Mallard (though some see this last one as a shade of green!)

According to colour charts and the code suffix number, Mallard is a Blue shade.

But then, according to the colour charts and code suffix numbers, Damson is a Purple shade, but Magenta is Red! And Honeysuckle is White! I'm forced to the conclusion that the guy who drew up the colour lists was colour blind!

Whilst you can get Mallard 1850s (Badged only Dolomite) I don't think it was ever a Sprint colour as it was dropped from the Triumph range in 72.

Mallard Sprints?

This might be one! VA10507 DLA. One of only a couple of Automatics that I have come across.
