You mean the parts to bung up the in-block pump location? You can get those from the club, you need to be a memeber but you can join at the time of ordering your parts. Can't find the post with the phone no in at the mo...

Another sprintfire eh? do tell more.

Ok, 1964 mk1 spitfire- GT6 roof and rear panel- GT6chassis and modified suspension- 4 pots and GT6 drums- roll cage and strengthend shell etc etc, engine is low milesge standard unit except for carbs and cooling system at the moment due to previous big bang, sprint gearbox and various other mods. I use a rad from a Metro turbo which works fine at the moment. Car has been raced since the early 70s I think as I have plenty of history. Nowdays I am trying to keep it road legal as well as competative. Electric cooling is hopefully another simple step forward?!

Where abouts are you and what events are you planning to attend? I'm hoping to rebuild my spit as a sprintfire so would love a squint and a chat. Any chance I can twist your arm into taking it to TDCIR. Mr Speedy has a sprintfire too, I'm giving his arm a verbal crank at every opportunity. His is a 5 speed trackable road car so it would be interesting to compare with your road legal O/D boxed racer.

There was an unfinished yellow sprintfire sold on ebay a couple of years ago, is that yours or a third example?

I live in Machynlleth mid-Wales, quite a way from Horley, ( I was born in Windlesham, not far from you ), whats TDCIR? and where is it held?. I've owned this car for 7 years now so it was'nt the one on ebay, I'm sure quite a few people have had a go at building them, but its definitely easier when the car is intended primarily for competition, far less problems to consider, well, asthetic one's anyway! TDCIR = The Triumph Dolomite Club International Rally
TDCIR is the annual rally, concours and AGM of the Triumph Dolomite Club.
TDCIR will see the largest gathering of Dolomites, Toledos, front wheel drive cars and Dolomite-based kit cars in the UK this year. Owners of other Triumph models and all Triumph clubs are also invited to attend. Even if you don't own a Triumph, come along and enjoy the day - you'll be made very welcome!
It is on Sunday 9th September at Hatton Country world this year, just off the M40 between Brum and Coventry. Click on this link for more info.

Thank you, I might be able to make that in the sprintfire all things being equal, watch out for a well beaten yellow GT6/spitfire, the real all round racer!!!
