Well, in a week when flu and toothache have left me little to laugh about, this has given me a good chuckle! Thanks Mahoney!

Is there a suggestion that these gadgets don't work? I mean the bright blue hose would indicate it's a genuine motorsport product and the well written Chinglish description makes me feel confident it would do as claimed.

People are so pessimistic these days.

And surely nobody is allowed to lie on the internet? Mrs May would never allow it :P

I think mighty car mods on youtube did tests on various products like this. The outcome was as expected!

I was thinking of strapping my wife's hair dryers to the SU carbs on my Midget. If I run the dryers on the cool setting it will not only boost the power through forced induction but will also deal with the fuel vaporisation issue too.

Nah, use one of those inverter thingies. The alternator is turning anyway so the electricity is just wasted during the day, might as well use it to power your hairdryer. Not just free power, free extra power.

I like that idea tinweevil!
Engine drives the alternator, alternator powers the inverter, inverter powers the pair of hairdryer's and the hair dryers power up the engine, that drives the alternator that powers the inverter....
