I got the Sprint engine to fire, after more fiddling with the timing. Still a few issues, it has no exhaust, just the downpipe, so it is very loud. The cabin also filled with fumes, no transmission tunnel.
In trying to get it to work I turned the idle up very high, so it was running so fast I was worried something might so bang, but it starts. More fiddling required.
