also ive removed the e-clip from the top of the coloum (the steering coloum is on the bench )but i cant get the coloum apart,have i missed something ?

What size thread is the nut for holding the steering wheel on,damage mine today
also ive removed the e-clip from the top of the coloum (the steering coloum is on the bench )but i cant get the coloum apart,have i missed something ?
