Road trip/potential courier opportunity

#1 Post by xvivalve »

Late notice, but James 467 and I are travelling to Greenock tomorrow (Saturday 06.01.18); James from Surrey/Hampshire and I from the West Midlands. We'll be full on the way back down, but could drop stuff off at M6 junctions on the way up should it save carriage for anyone? I'm thinking cill sections, large panels etc...

Doing the return trip in one day? Strewth, I wouldn't attempt it. I came from Surrey and am now in Troon, Ayrshire so have made the trip many, many times, but never there and back all in one day. These days one of my sons lives near Bath and it is just over 400 miles door to door, which has never taken less than 8-9 hours. With a lunch stop, make that 9 1/2 hours. Sooner you than me. You will be passing within 35 miles of my house if you come up the M74. Good luck lads.

As usual... too late for James to pick up the steering racks for you.

Left Stourbridge 07:20, dropped a seat off at Keele services and despite spending far longer than anticipated loading, we were back here before midnight!

Never thought about the racks Justyn, I didn’t think James was that local to you?
