Back on again.

Hi Folks,
I've been away from the forum for several months, concentrating my efforts towards my 1915 Model T Ford Speedster build.
That project has now entered a lull in proceedings so I now frequent another part of my shed, the part where my Sprint has been stored all this time.
Its pretty convenient too because just now my wife and I have been invited to holiday with our friends in central Victoria. (MGB, Spitfire & Mk1 Landy people). We've organised to go down there immediately after Easter. Some of you might remember that I tried to make this same journey 2 Easters ago, but due to timing chain and tensioner problems, had to turn back after just 30kms into the trip and forcing us to take the TDCI Focus instead. You can read all about that here.... viewtopic.php?f=4&t=30672
Those problems have long since been addressed and the car is running fine, or at least it was before I tucked it away 12-18 months ago. All that it needs now is an oil and filter change and some time spent on the carburettors. I have a Gunson Colourtune and a new Unisysn balancing thingy, so that task should'nt be a problem and will give me peace of mind on the long drive.
Its a 1600Kms round trip and the last thing I want to do is run the car for long extended periods with the thing running too lean.
Anyway, I'm pleased to be back here and I look forward to annoying you all once again. You never know, I might just be able to contribute something too.
Cheers,
Rob

:bluewave: Welcome back. Looking forward to hearing (and seeing) how the Sprint is faring, and of course the road trip pictures.
