The bolts that hold the brake disc to the hub,am i right thinking there 3/8 unc i know a 9/16 sockets fit

Then I would tap it m10 and buy some decent m10 bolts in 10.9. The normal standard automotive strength of suspension and brake bolts.

A VW vented disc? Very thin in that section unless you mean a spacer behind the disc?
