Head lamp repair panel

#1 Post by new to this »

Just a Quick question to settle my mind, the club head lamp repair panel,is not big enough to cover the rust I have on the front end of the chassis leg,if I cut out the rust the front end of the chassis leg will be left open, would that give me any alignment problems ?

Thanks Dave

It shouldn't give you an alignment problem, i've fitted a couple where this has happened without problems, I usually fit the repair section before cutting away the damaged bit across the front of the leg, then cut out and make up a piece to blank the leg off.
