I have just fitted the number plates i got from the NEC, looks much better now. i think they look better

It's a shame Rob took the originals off in the first place.

I think they look great. Better than putting the black/silver plates on a car which wouldn't have had them from new AND better than the modern yellow/white plates!

I went the other way on mine,had new plates made like your before picture

I bought a pair for my Dads Tr6 as a present and they look great! I will be buying another pair for my sprint. Modern plates on classic cars annoy me. But each to their own and all that...

Definitely an improvement.

Built 26/6/1980, 3 previous owners (2 within the same family).
