Re: MOT Fail
Not rear wiper, but related! I had a Polo Diesel that wouldn't run because the wire to the high level brake light in the tailgate hinge was broken and shorting! Turns out, the ECU runs off the brake light fuse, fuse blows from short in tailgate loom, motor won't start! Have a guess how long it took me to trace this fault!OCF405R wrote: ↑Wed May 02, 2018 3:34 pmturned Off my rear wiper on the Polo via vehicle set up menu nothing worse then a scraping noise when window is dry ... all way use door mirrors ...Galileo wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 5:28 pmOr a Fourtrak, rear window wipers are useful if you ever select reverse and prefer to see what's there rather than waiting for the crunch! On a lot of cars if there is a brake light fault (lights on or a short) the car will either not run or loss power as its part of the engine braking via the ECU.Carledo wrote: ↑Wed May 02, 2018 3:54 pmNot rear wiper, but related!
