1500 fwd battery specification

ive been using an old battery from another car but want to get a proper one now its about to get back in the road. what is the correct battery specification/size please. thanks

It should be an 038 which is used on other Triumphs and the classic Mini. You'll find that a lot of Dolomite parts will fit the 1500fwd.

The 038 battery, which is the "stock" fitment for all the smaller engined Dolomite family is 35 amp/hour. the 015 is exactly the same size and shape, but is 45 amp/hour, so a bit heavier duty.
