windscreen washer bottle

i bought one from rimmers about 18 months ago for about £30 and only got round to fitting it last week. it barely works. the motor is so weak it doesn't even suck the water up let alone squirt it out. because ive had it so long they wont do anything about it which is fair enough but has anyone else bought one and if so from where and did it work

The motors turn tiny rubber paddles; sometimes when running from dry you need to prime the pipe with water else air just by passes the paddles...
