A week away in Portugal has somewhat delayed progress, but today I took the radiator out, finished reassembling the propshaft and refitted the rear case on the auto box.

All back together, but forgot to buy ATF today DOH! So test run will have to wait for tomorrow evening. Cutting it fine for the weekend run, but we might just make it!

You know.... I bet you did, I bet it's still in the boot! I've just bought a load of AQF Mineral Comma stuff from around the corner.
DOH!

ATF topped up and Binny driven to work this morning. So far so good.... didn't get chance for a good thrash in the rush hour so I'll go out at lunch and do a bit of motorway speed. Sadly the ambient temp in Bradford today is a bit lower than when I was worrying about the engine temp, so it's not going to be a proper direct comparison.

Around 520 miles completed in the last 2 days (CT's "Border Raiders" event), that's 442 on the event plus around 80 getting to the start location and home from the finish.

No overheating problems despite very high ambient temperature. And some challenging roads including https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buttertubs_Pass

Very happy!

Bruce? I think Chris R. was telling me about the fuel pump failure on Bruce's GT6 when I got to the start.

The event is "gentle" enough that 1 person can drive the whole thing.... just find somebody who wants a co-driver/navigator and come along for the ride! There were a couple of people running solo this year.
