Rear shocks
Re: Rear shocks
Sorry false alarm was not my shock. Had it on a hoist found the brake hose leaking dripping onto handbrake cable running down behind wheel. All fixed new hose, brake bleed.

Good news Denis. Just for info most people will steer you to Gaz instead of Spax, I am looking to change mine over as they are a bit tired now. Yours sits nicely in the avatar..

Re: Rear shocks
Hmmm, Koni's. Best of the (mainstream) shocks by some margin
Only downsides are they are not height adjustable, and rebound needs one end disconnected. But they are a better design internally.
The ones on my spitfire are 23 years old (probably 50-60K, they were in store for 8 years), but still working as new.

My car sits nice but a problem over all these speed bumbs some I hit bottom. But on the road with my BCTR club trips it handles corners very well. So happy that all shocks still working
