Can anyone help with the following.
One of the rear axle hub nut threads on my Sprint is slightly damaged, would anyone know the size of the threads so I can get a die to restore it.
Second, has anyone got a half decent idea of repairing the holes in the ends of the front spoiler. Tried rivnuts but they just pull out again. Any threads on the forum on this??
Many thanks,
Chris.

I used the rubber nuts as recommended by cliftyhanger, and they do work well.
But when I cleaned up the front I could not find them in the boot, so went with,

Oh, cavity anchors. Good call! Probably better than well nuts. And available at your local Toolstation for a quid...
(I had to use well nuts on a consumer unit. The sparky wasn't happy the board cover screws were secure enough. He wanted to charge severalhundred quid to replace the whole board. I fitted well nuts, and he was happy. And no need to drill the CU either, it was a crappy plastic fixing that was very slightly mangled, well nuts pushed in, and 6mm roofing bolts with large heads. I digress....)

Hub nut part number 58784? The factory manual lists hub to axle shaft as being 5/8" UNF
Re: Sprint halfshaft nut and front spoiler/splitter
Chris,
For the spoiler I used what I call jack nuts.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M4-M5-M6-Hol ... 25406?var=
I used M5 long because the holes in my spoiler were in poor condition, but could probably have got away with M5 short.
They are like cavity fixers, but meant for thin material. I found the best way to fix them is to pull through with a long bolt- see pictures below.
The result is quite good

Would just like to say a big thank you for everyone’s reply’s, very helpful. It’s great to know there’s lots of help and advice on hand! For the spoiler I’ll try some of the collapsible wall fixings, I’ll post a pic when done.
Chris.
