Frankly in my opinion MGF seats are the ones to go for.

Supportive, comfortable and relatively easy to fit.

I fitted them to RUK (Binny) and both Sam and Steve (Carledo) have improved on my design so they fit better. I expect that they can both elaborate! 8)

What James said about MGF seats^^^^^^^^^

Also goes for the almost identical seats from MGZR. This car also has a 2 door variant with tilting seats for 2 door Toledos! MGF seats DON'T actually tilt!

I've also personally fitted MkVI Escort seats (bit of a faff and need reversing left for right and vice versa) and a Corbeau racing seat (hard but very supportive) I've seen used, seats from Alfa 156, Renault 19, Rover 45 (mount a bit high for my 6' height) and Mazda MX5. And a few others that I can't remember! But almost ANYTHING is better than the stock seats IMO!

I have in stock and for sale a full black leather set from a Rover 45 and an untried set of tilting seats from a 2 door Astra GSi in either cloth or half leather but predominantly black with bits of red, £90 and £50 respectively.

MGF in mine. I managed to get black cloth and looks well with the Dolly black rear seats. Cloth = £70 leather = £150 upwards unless youre lucky (unlike me)

MGF here too.£10 for an OK pair of cloth seats about 8 years ago.Fitted at std seats were hopeless when doing night rallies. Daughter was 14 at the time, and pretty small, she was fine in them. Just done RBRR with 2 "full sized" blokes, again they were happy enough. Great seats....
I fitted mine with no extra holes in the floor. I welded extension steel plates to one runner, but for the RBRR I also had to make an extension to get extra legroom for the drivers. Which left very little in the rear :?

Did they come out of the Corsa B in your sig by any chance? I know that Corsa C seats are different.

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Rover 45 seats. They can be made to fit and the rear seats can also be made to fit.
