Sprint headlamp bezel fixing screws

#1 Post by GrahamFountain »

What size screw hold the bezel in place. Looked at Mike B's how to spot an early one page, but I can't make out if they're 8's or 10's.

The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.

Factory 1977 TR7 Sprint FHC VVC 697S (Now all of, but still needs putting together)
B&Y 73 Dolomite Sprint UVB 274M (kids!)
1970 Maroon 13/60 Herald Convertable (wife's fun car).

I was looking at 10s cos the holes are a bit worn, and I think 6s would pull through. But 8s seem to work.

No, I mean the painted black outer surround for both headlamps. I think the part numbs are 817389 and 817388, but I aren't certain.
