Hi all
After a couple of months of recommissioning, my SE passed it's MOT yesterday!
This is my first Dolomite after an MGB and a Series Land Rover and having purchased the car through the forum on new years eve (and being able to see some of it's history from previous posts) as a project car from a head gasket change that started a few years ago, I would never have got this far without the knowledge of the forum and members (thanks especially to Carledo Steve for his help) and information from the technical articles.
I also want to say a special thanks to Mick Dolphin. I bought an ignition switch from him recently and having found a pinhole in the bypass pipe last weekend and the usual local suspects being closed, I emailed Mick on the off chance that he still had one from a previous stock list and even though he didn't, he managed to supply a good used one which I picked up that afternoon!
I will update the thread that the previous owner started but suffice to say, it isn't finished yet....
Thanks again
Stephen

That’s what it’s all about, this place and the people involved make it what it is.
Well done on the pass and to all whom helped.

Congrats on getting the car sorted and thank you for thanking people, one of my pet peeves is people who ask for advice or help then you don't hear from them again until they want more advice and they never give updates.
Some people are like Slinky's, they serve no real purpose in life but bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
