I'm in the process of stripping and prepping my door cappings for recoating. I've had a read of a number of threads and wondered if any one had tried a simple beewax finish?
Would it stand up to use or would I be constantly rubbing down and reapplying?
I really like a 'natural' look to wood and have been really surprised at just how nice the wood is on the cappings.
Any advice/thoughts would be appreciated
Cheers
Alex

Re: Door capping finishes
I'm in the middle of doing my dash and door capping,I've used Elm Bur vineer on mine and car spray lacquer your need about 8-10 coats for a really nice finish, don't try to put the lacquer on to thick in one time,I did and got fish eye,so had to rub it down and redo some of it
