Sprint vinyl roof
Anybody got a current source for an early type vinyl roof for a Sprint? The ones recommended previously don't seem to have websites any more.

The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.

Re: Sprint vinyl roof
And speaking to them, they wouldn't have the material for the early ones with the two seams.

Re: Sprint vinyl roof
Just got mine delivered from Aldridge Trimming twin seam and the D post panels also £123+ postage
They also do the bulkhead pad but its not on the site, it needs a slight modification to it. I need to let you all know of other mods I made to it too.
I got the headlining at the same time.
Wow, that was an expensive order.

Re: Sprint vinyl roof
I've bought a few from Martrim. I spoke with Josh last year at the NEC and he confirmed they still make them. Give him a call.
Sprintless for the first time in 35+ years.
... Still Sprintless.

I used to deal with Martin, Josh's Dad, but I think he's taken a back seat now. But talk with Josh about the seamed roofs.

Re: Sprint vinyl roof
Just in case anyone else in the same boat is following this:
While neither have them listed on their websites, both Aldridge Trimming and Martrim have the early type, twin seam vinyl roof covers, with side post trims, for much the same price. Martrim also supply the glue as an extra. Though I'm not sure that's enough reason on its own to stick with them.
So, assuming there's not too much month left at the end of the money, I should be ordering one of those soon.
Any suggestions for how to compare these covers, price not seeming to be an issue, would be welcome.

Good point, though I was thinking more in terms of cut and fit.

When I contacted Aldridge I said that they could be my swing out on sales if their not on the website.
I only knew of the bulkhead pad by reading Mark Gibson’s restoration threads.
How do they except expect to retail these items. The next thing they’ll withdraw them as they haven’t moved many, bloody he’ll they have a limited audience as it is.
Bizarre
