Electrical cable supplier.

#1 Post by MIG Wielder »

Could someone remind me of the name of the specialist car-electrics cable supplier who was about 3 stalls down from the Club stand at the Resto; Show please ?
He was the one that did complete reels of correctly specd; cable or would cut off a length to suit. He had all the Dolomite (well B.L. ) colour-coded cables as well.
Thanks,
Tony.

Some people are like Slinky's, they serve no real purpose in life but bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

I've been getting mine from choicecables-uk on ebay. £12.99 for a 50m roll but they will do smaller quantities.

They seem to have the full range of Lucas colour codes, with or without trace. The only snag is that this is for 16amp thinwall cable which means 4 separate main beam leads from the relay to the headlights to give a good safety margin. Not that this bothers me unduly, it gives me a chance to put fuses in the headlight wiring like a modern, 2 for LH and RH dip and 2 for LH and RH main
