Luminition magnatron lgnition

I have fitted luminition magnatron ignition to my sprint so do I have set the timig at 10 tdc

It's a good starting point! As with any ignition system the ideal timing will vary slightly from car to car and will also be affected by distributor wear. Set as you would any normal ignition system, by a lot of trial and error and road testing. The advantage is that, once you have it right, you'll never need to touch it again!

The last one i fitted was a replacement for another that lasted 18 years of daily use.

These are very reliable but installed incorrect or used with the wrong coil can make a new one last only 10 minutes.

Check carefully when installed all is correct.
